About Barbara

Barbara Kaylor, MSN, APRN, CNS-PP, is the owner of the ‘Ageless Lifestyle Medical Aesthetics’ and has been in nursing for 30 + years. Barbara obtained a Master’s of Science degree in nursing in 2003 from Gonzaga University, Spokane, WA. Barbara obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing in 1987 from Oregon Institute of Technology, Klamath Falls, Oregon and Associates of Science degree from Clackamas Community College, in 1974. While working as a Registered Nurse, she completed her advance practice RN as a CNS in 1997. She became Licensed and Certified as a CNS with prescriptive privileges, (CNS-PP) from the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Oregon State Board of Nursing in July of 2011.
As an accomplished, passionate and knowledgeable ‘CNS’ she is known for working well under pressure, problem solving skills, working with clients and program development. Barbara believes in superior client care in all area of health care and takes pride in helping others obtain the best that they can be. 

During her career, Barbara has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, formerly of Asante Health Systems as House Supervisor and Employee Health Practitioner. During her career in nursing, she has worked in : Intensive care, Neuro./Ortho., post open heart, home health & hospice, employee health practitioner, occupational health, and many management positions, including: ‘Chief Nursing Officer’ of a rural hospital, Unit Manager of Home Health and Hospice, Director of Medical, Surgical, Tele and the ICU step down units in Kingman Arizona. Ms. Kaylor also has experience starting and managing a non-profit medical foundation and group home for underserved teen parents in Klamath County. She states, “I love nursing and have been fortunate enough to have experienced everything in nursing I ever dreamed of wanting to accomplish; "nursing for me has been like opening up a box of chocolates, you never know for sure what you’re going to get.”

In 2011, Barbara underwent training and became certified by the National Laser Institute for:  Neuro-Toxin injectables such as: Botox and Zeomin.  Dermal fillers such as: Restylane®, Juvederm®, and Radiesse; and Sclerotherapy, the elimination of ‘Spider Veins’.  In 2013, Barbara furthered her education to include certification in microdermabrasion, and the utilization of IPL/SPL lasers, to include:  Hair removal, skin rejuvenation, re-surfacing, tattoo removal, and nail fungus removal.  In 2014, the LED Multiple color light therapy machine, developed by 'Nasa' was purchased, at that time, Barbara became certified in light therapy and Cold Lasers for: All types pain relief such as:  Acute/chronic injury, pre and post surgery and aesthetics to:  Re-grow ones own elastin and collagen for the reduction on wrinkles, tightening and lifting of the skin, removal of spots, acne control, just to mention a few of the treatments. In 2015, the Ultherapy machine was purchased and Barbara is now leading for the top  practitioner in her area for 'Ultherapy', named 'The top office procedure of the year'. Barb often makes the statement, "why would you want to put something in your skin particularly your face that is painful, with costly upkeep and may cause you side affects when you can naturally grow and regenerate your own collagen and elasticity with little to no discomfort or side affects and with minimal or no upkeep"? You'll find that Barbara believes in natural therapies to 'Love the Skin Your In'.

​Barbara has always wanted to do something in nursing that is fun where the client wants to do something for themselves. A native Oregonian, Barbara is also active in VA Services for veterans, a Navy veteran herself; an Eastern Star; involved in Women's Business Organization and many Nursing Organizations.

Barbara has one brother 'Lee' who lives in Idaho and retired at 75 after 30+ years in the newspaper business; a son, 'Jeff' who has his Masters in Business from Southern Oregon College, he owns two businesses and has a full-time job as a Corp. Business Mgr.; J
eff's wife Lisa has two grown sons from a previous marriage, Austin who is single and Nick who works in the automobile industry and his wife just gave birth to Leo this month,  two granddaughters, 'Mendy' who has her Masters in Business from Southern Oregon College has many years working with children, including DHS and continues to work with the State of Oregon with children.  Mendy's husband 'Jeff' works with transporting, he has two children, Jeff Jr. 12 and Nevaeh 9, from a previous marriage.  Jeff and Mendy are expecting their first child, a girl 'Avalynn' born July 11, 2017.  'Taryn' who graduated from Linfield 'College of Nursing' with her BSN, in Dec. of 2015 is now working with the VA in Nursing. Taryn's husband 'Johnny' also graduated with his Master's Degree, in Health Administration in 2015 and is working in Health Administration.  Taryn and Johnny have two children Raegan 6 and Chase 4. Both Johnny and Taryn served in Iraq, for our country where they met during their tour there. Barbara feels very blessed by her family.
